Countdown to 200: The University of Toronto’s role in Canada and a changing world
Professor Bonnie McElhinny was installed as the 12th Principal of New College. President Gertler, who administer the Oath of Office, paid tribute to her as “an accomplished scholar, a dedicated teacher, and an experienced and respected administrator” who has built an outstanding record of service to New College, to the University of Toronto, and to the wider community.
